Welcome! The next stop on our #SafariPartyFabrics blog hop is Kate， from See Kate Sew! I’；ve been a big fan of Kate’；s fresh and modern style for a very long time and am so excited to have her as a stop on our blog hop.？ To see more projects made with Safari Party just CLICK HERE.？
After I got my “；stash”； of Safari Party fabric last summer I wanted to make a summer tunic for myself using either the giraffe or pink elephant print. When I designed those two prints I always thought the scale of them would work well on apparel.cheap throw pillow covers
I never quite got around to making my tunic， but it is on my “；to sew”； list for next year for sure.
For her stop on the blog hop， Kate created this ADOrABLE tunic using the gold and blue/gold giraffe print from the line. I absolutely love how it turned out and think I need one for myself now!
The pattern is one of hers (she has a line of fantastic women’；s sewing patterns) which is coming soon. She’；s sharing a bit of a sneak？peek at the pattern along with more details about her project on her blog. Just click here to visit？See Kate Sew
In addition？to chatting about Kate’；s project， I also thought it would be fun to share with you a few fun Safari Party projects that have been shared on Instagram lately.
Holly created her own version of Florence the Flamingo (pattern by Elizabeth Hartman) using the blues from the line! I love where the quilt is going and can’；t wait to see it when it’；s finished.
I’ve been wanting to make Florence ever since I bought the pattern while at Quilt Con back in February. And I have also been dying to sew with my stash of Safari Party by Melissa Mortensen of @polkadotchair so I thought why not combine the two？! ？ I have lots more sewing to do with my rather large stash of Safari Partycheap throw pillow covers， but I wanted a bit of instant gratification and ？？ #goldshimmerfabricismyfav #florenceflamingoquilt #florenceflamingo #rileyblakedesigns #safaripartyfabric
Deidra from Quilty Obsession has been busy stitching up lots of projects with the fabric including these adorable wallets and this cute pincushion (which I am now the proud owner of *woot*)!
Day 7 of the #pinnieparade with @tinkerellen. More fun with my bundle of #safaripartyfabric from @simplylovefabrics. The animal prints in this line by @polkadotchair are just perfect for fussy cutting and when you order from #simplylovefabrics， they always send these adorable buttons that are perfect for little projects like this #pincushion. Legend has it that Daedalus stayed in the village of Noto after his flight over the Ionian Sea, and Hercules stayed here after his seventh task (which incidentally was not to clean out the basement).
Do you and your partner have to compromise on mattress comfort? Not anymore!
I mentioned earlier this week that I completely ran out of time to make the kiddos’ Easter outfits this year.? Bummer.? I really enjoy making their holiday outfits because, hmmmmm, I don’t know why.? Maybe it’s a good excuse to make them something new?? And justifies the purchase of new fabric?? However, this year I found some really cute things at the store last minute while shopping for something else…..and just went with it.
