We’re always looking for design inspiration, and we know you are too. That’s why for each new season, we like to share the paint colors we used in our seasonal rooms. In this post, we’re sharing all of the colors from our Summer 2018 catalog.

Because we shoot in real homes, we’re not always at liberty to paint the wallscheap throw pillow covers, and in those cases, we’ve chosenpaint colorsthat best match the wall color in the photo. Please be aware that color may vary due to various light conditions, finish and other factors. It’s always a great idea to test a paint sample on your wall first.

If you’;re looking for a white but worried about a room feeling yellowed, we suggest Sherwin Williams’; Pearly White. It has a little bit of yellow but gray too so it’;s not too cold and not too warm. It’;s like the Goldilocks of white!

Grays make a serene paint color in rooms that get lots of natural light, and we love Sherwin Williams’; Colonnade Gray because it reads as a true gray but because it’;s got a touch of warmth, it never feels cold. Mix it with blues, warm woods, and even other grays.

Seeing as it’;s Suzanne Kasler’;s favorite white, you can bet that she used it as the backdrop for her new Southport Dining Collection. This warm white looks great with both crisp whites and natural textures like rattan. In our Southport Bedroom and Messina dining room, we added in touches of black for contrast and drama.

To play of the oranges and taupes in these rooms, we wanted a paint color with more body than just white. Benjamin Moore’;s Stone Hearth reads as taupe, but it has a touch of gray that keeps it from feeling too brown.

Years ago when I first got back into quilting, I did it because I wanted to learn how to make a baby quilt. I think that making a baby quilt is one of the main reasons that people pick up quilting. They are great quilting projects for beginners since they are small and relatively quick to sew.

When CEO and Founder of RARE Science Christina Waters?(RARE Science is a nonprofit organization that accelerates cures for kids), approached BERNINA for a sewing machine to raffle off at A Beary RARE Affair, her request launched more than just a machine giveaway. It was decided that BERNINA had to do something more.
